As I type Cannon and I are cuddling in bed and the twins are napping.
Cannon was happy his mumma came into his bed and cuddled him up to nap. He gets so smiley when I do that. It's adorable.
Tomorrow is BIG SCAN day!!! We need these scans to be clear - show no cancer - so again I ask, please pray for this for Cannon. Then we can start the DFMO trial for two years. Cannon will take the low dose maintenance chemo for two years. Sadly, the story is far from over. I wish it were!!!
Team Cannonball is Team NED today in the World Cup - go Netherlands!
Cannon, Michael and I were in New York in the ICU for Cannon's second birthday where he was suffering from delirium and had been on life support for 5 days after his 13 hour surgery. Michael and I want Cannon to have an extra, extra special third birthday (August 10) and so we're planning a special trip for Cannon, Mumma-bear and Dad to Scotland. We have two fundraising and speaking events that we will do while we are there. It's not set in stone but we're trying so hard to make a really, really special birthday for our boy. Thankfully my sister from another Mister, the twins' godmother Angela, has agreed to look after the twins with an army of help (I will be calling on my army of help soon;))...
It is so exciting to think I MAY get home to Bonny Scotland with my Cannonball and husband. Cannon deserves a trip and all of his parents' loving all to himself. He has been to hell and back. Although it's hard to think of leaving Olivia and the twins it's about Cannon, not me or them, so I must just embrace it!
Below is info on one of our Scotland events. The money raised will be to help with research for kids in the UK.

Cannonball Kids' Cancer
Thankful For The Fight
49 Days Cancer Free
Friends and Fellow Golfers
The event will be a fun day of golf, food, drink, friendship and a fabulous auction. The entire day will benefit the Cannonball Kids' cancer Foundation, a newly formed foundation in honor of our son, Cannon Wiggins, who has fought stage IV neuroblastoma cancer since April 2013 and is now cancer free. The Foundation was started by Melissa and me to educate worldwide about the lack of funding for research for more effective treatments for the 12 different types of childrens' cancers. The Foundation will fund clinical trials and other research in the UK, Europe and the US with a goal to one day bring an end to cancer suffered by our children.
Will you please join us at DunDonald Links on 29 August? Foursomes will be £500 or individuals can join us and be placed in a foursome for £125 per golfer. A live auction will be held after the golf, and items will include tickets to sporting events, golf equipment, foursomes at world class venues, and holidays in the UK and US. If you would like to be a part of this great event for a cause that will surely save the lives of children, please contact the Director of Golf at Dundonald, Guy Redford, at email@example.com or phone 1294-314-000.
If you have interest in playing, please do not wait for the last moment. Last year's event was sold out and golfers were turned away. A maximum of 25 foursomes will go off in a shotgun start (100 golfers). The format of the tournament will be a stableford scoring with the best 2 balls of the foursome--this is not a scramble! After the golf, we will have food, the live auction and presentation of prizes.
If you can’t play but would still like to attend, please come out to support the effort to rid our children of pediatric cancer. Come out for a great cause and to see Cannon, Melissa and me and we will have a great day. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you at Dundonald!
