If you know me you know I don't shy away from challenges - I relish them. If you don't know me, know this: although we didn't win the painting for our Foundation, I am not disappointed, I'm determined!
We will make $50,000 in the next four months.
We will donate $100,000 to cancer research.
We will help change the face of pediatric cancer.
The book will raise lots of funds.
The fundraiser on April 19th on Ivanhoe Road will be a huge success.
The list doesn't end.
We will never stop.
We are not disappointed, we are determined!
Ask our Board... I'm steamrolling it. I can't and I won't slow down.
I am not disappointed, I am determined!
So we didn't win... but it's okay! Don't be disappointed, be determined. Team CKc, which everyone reading this is a part of, is determined. Together we can change the face of pediatric cancer.
I am grateful that close to 900 people took the time and voted for team CKc. Thank you!!! Thank you for taking time for Team CKc and our mission to reach $100,000.
The truth is, we need to applaud the winner, Braden's Hope For Childhood cancer. They managed to obtain the most votes and worked hard to do so. I for one am so happy that a childhood cancer foundation won!!! This is a win for cancer research in pediatrics! Congratulations!!!
Now, back to work... I have to make some serious money in the next few months, even if I have to sell some home furniture. Oh wait, I already did (shhhhh, don't tell Michael. ;)).
Tomorrow I will update on Cannon's hearing aids. He is rocking it with style!! I have never seen a kid look so cool! My hero! Our hero! Pediatric cancer's hero.
